Android device manager looks similar to its rival

Smartphones are growing by leaps and bounds in technology and one of the major things that users, tech gurus and investors are talking about is the location finding ability of mobile operating system. While Apple started this with find my iPhone; google too has been running android device manager parallelly on desktop. However, google has now decided to go ahead with the mobile application of android device manager that derives a lot from its Apple counterpart.

You can easily have a look at the web interface of the android device managers which android app developers love so much. The interface gives a quick option to name your device along with the ability to ring your phone in full volume and erase all the data including the operating system in the mobile device. Apple’s find my iPhone is loaded with similar features too and it won't be incorrect to say that the android device manager is very identical to find my iPhone.

The decision of going mobile is good in one way as it might not be easy for users to find a desktop to ring their phone at the moment when they discover that it is lost. On the other hand, finding another android user has more possibilities and can lead the user with lost phone to immediately erase the operating system. This feature is not something that brings in user satisfaction but it does help in theft prevention and tech companies are encouraged to give this feature as it reduces the risk of misuse of the device or being used by unlawful forces.
